Time has run out for the embattled community aboard the cruise ship Spirit of Arcadia. Their options for survival have dwindled, leaving only one viable course of action. With their outlook bleak, civil unrest threatens to destroy everything they’ve worked for. Yet all hope is not lost. One among them could hold the secret to a brighter future.
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, or so the saying goes. Having lurched from one calamity to another, Captain Jake Noah and his end-of-the-world companions should be tough enough to face anything. But the community has been beaten down by its constant battles against death, and is in danger of imploding.
A last glimmer of hope lies with a young man from a land far away. Does he hold the secret to the future of the fleet? Jake thinks so, but the choices he makes now will spark the most frightening challenges of his life, as forces both inside and outside the ship conspire to try and defeat him.

After four books, I was hoping that the fifth (and last) would have a satisfying conclusion. Nope, kinda stopped with a number of questions still in the air. SPOILER: Yay, they reached good land. Where were the Americans, which were supposed to be there? Seems the writer ran into a deadline and decided to go with "They arrived. The end." There are some follow-ups about Faslane, don't care. During the series I was getting perturbed about how he treated Lucya. Granted, my wife changes her mind (women's prerogative and all), but come on. With her extensive background in the Russia military, and all the goings on since the end of the world, she was all over the place. Most of the characters did their duty (ok, did we really need a Jason/Freddy/Michael Myers?) If you have read the first three, you are wanting more. At the fourth, getting a bit tiresome, but still interested, After reading number five.. wish I hadn't started number one.Product details

Noah’s Ark Destination Noah Ark Series Book 5 eBook Harry Dayle Reviews
This is an awesome series. I am about to start his new set- continued from this series- Faslane Files. Is love to see a another series-perhaps Bermuda ). Anyway, excellent read, exciting and fast paced. I highly recommend it.
Again a quick read through an action packed adventure. The plot here was not too busy with subplots as some others in the series. But it was hard to understand some of the characters' motivations because the villains had little voice or background. But the overall story was strong and engaging.
I prefer being behind the times and reading book series that have been out long enough for me to read from start to finish in one good read. I've been reading each of these books when they were first released, so my forgetful mind leaves me blank on many things that happened in the previous books. I did enjoy the journey of reading these books, a very satisfying ending, I do recommend this series!
After a steady stream of John Ringo & David Weber, among others, I'm used to the all-in-charge main character. The reluctant leader main character too a bit to get used to. This is my first time reading Harry Dayle. I gave it a try on my daughter's recommendation. Glad I did. It eventually results in a satisfactory resolution. The last half or the final book is pretty intense. It ends on a strong note and everybody gets what they deserve, good or bad.
This has been a fascinating series. Characters are realistic, both admirable and disgusting. The adventures these survivors go through are exciting, scary, and believable. Captain Noah is a reluctant hero, which makes him even more likeable. He has been on a journey to maturity throughout this series, and I believe he has finally figured things out enough to have confidence in his decisions. If you love apocalyptic literature, then add this series with confidence to your reading list.
Great handling of their next adventure. I was afraid it would be more of the same. The only problem I had with it was that the villains (2 of them) were a bit "melodramatic". I sort of thought of those cartoon caricature drawings you see at county fairs offered up for sale. However, that did not drag the story down. You gotta have villains and in the world that is left to Noah's Ark - there is not much to draw from - so great job. I felt after I read it - that the story could come to a close without any questions from me. It is the type of story - that might be picked up again - but far into the future with a brief intro to explain what happened to the ancestors. -) I am eager to see some more from Faslane and cannot wait to finish that up!
Harry Dayle is a wonderful author. The plot moves quickly but slow enough to enjoy the story. The characters are developed beautifully and you forget that they are just characters. I hated it when I came to the final page in the final book. I'm really going to miss these people in my daily life. I'm going on to the Faslane Files series now so I can see what they have been doing while I was aboard ship. If you enjoy excitement, adventure and mystery done well by an imaginative author this series and Harry Dayle are exactly what you are looking for. Oh, and by the way my husband is on volume 4 now. Enjoy!!!
